In the beginning his interest in martial arts was purely to learn self-defence. However, over time his focus changed. Studying the history, philosophy, techniques and katas, “Perfection of the Character” of the karate-ka, and the “integration of mind and technique” became his focus. Clint is constantly analyzing techniques and providing valuable insight to those who train with him. He says," "I have a long way to go but being constantly surrounded by so many good people who practice the martial arts I am really enjoying the journey"
